WOMEN collection – smile, life and mother

Wall Art collection – WOMEN , pieces that translate aspects admired in the feminine. Marquetry that makes the stylized, contemporary line tangible.

“Women.
So much beauty and strength in this word and what it means. ⠀
So many adjectives… And so many different types. ⠀
The breadth of what women are and what they make them…⠀
Admiration I feel. Recognition for your worth. To all. For what they do, for what they try to do. For what they are for themselves, for others, for the world. ⠀
The feminine is so potent and so necessary… and so beautiful!”

DRAGONFLIES collection – dragonflies (1, 2 and 3) and TUCA panel

I always wanted to make pieces that represented some insects. The TUCA panel represents my admiration for dragonflies, this ancestral insect of rare beauty, which has always been present in the most diverse artistic movements of our history. Through him, I decided to portray the elegance, delicacy and strength of dragonflies; and I also discovered that dragonflies are older than dinosaurs – they’ve been on Earth for over 300 million years!!
In Japan (known as “Dragonfly Island” – Akitsu shima), it is associated with happiness, luck and prosperity. The samurai had on their helmets the representation of the dragonfly as a hope of victory over the enemy and as a symbol of strength and courage.
